At 12.30pm, my wife, Dabak, for the very first time in her life got behind the wheel of a manual sedan and, following an intensive half hour lesson, drove me 2 laps around the Sandown Motor Racing Circuit. This was made possible thanks to her fantastic driving instructor, Rowan White, and the Lions Club of Warrandyte who organize this annual event for blind and visually-impaired people.
